ABOUT KASSI GARDNER

 

 

Kassi Gardner was born in El Paso, but was raised by a single mom in Pagosa Springs, Co and Ozark, Missouri. She is the middle child of two brothers, which she adores. From a young age Kassi showed a passion for film. She graduated from Full Sail University where she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation from Full Sail University. During her time at Full Sail, she worked on 13 different productions.

 

Working as a Visual Effects Artist for Burning Tractor Kassi had the chance to learn the workflow of the post production world. She had the opportunity to work on features as well as a TV show during her time with Burning Tractor. Kassi has had the opportunity to work with some top networks such as Disney, NAT GEO Wild, Netflix, CBS, NBC, and many more. She has had the pleasure of working in various different roles form a Production Assistant, to Media Manager, to Grip, to Assistant Camera. She works and editor and graphic designer for various clients.

  

Kassi enjoys writing and directing when she has the chance. She wrote and directed a short thriller called Stranded. This film is a suspense/thriller, a genre that really calls to Kassi. Her passion for filmmaking can be found in her everyday life. Pulling inspiration from her family, her friends and her favorite movie Peter Pan.
